The Commission for Theological Integrity is pleased to announce its program on Monday afternoon during the 2015 National Convention in Grand Rapids.
This year’s session is entitled “Discipleship in Biblical, Theological, and Pastoral Perspective.” Though this session will last for the typical hour and a half time-block, we’re pleased to have two presenters filling out this year’s program.
Long-time biblical scholar and author Dr. Robert Picirilli will be presenting the central arguments found in his most recent book, Discipleship: The Expression of Saving Faith. Picirilli has lectured and preached broadly in the denomination on this topic prior to and following the book’s publication. Now he brings his expertise once again to venue of the National Convention.
We’re also pleased to have veteran pastor Michael Locklear presenting on discipleship from a pastoral perspective. Locklear has pastored the First Free Will Baptist Church of Savannah, Georgia for over five years, and previously pastored in Kentucky. Locklear is an alumnus of Welch College, and widely-respected among his peers.
We invite you to be a part of this unique and stimulating program at this year’s Convention. Be sure to check your Convention program once arriving in Grand Rapids to verify the location and time of the session.
